Looking for a fun and educational opportunity for your teen this summer?
For the last five years, the Aquarium has offered its Teen Interpreter Program. Students age 14 to 17 have the chance to learn about Hawaiian marine life and share that knowledge by interacting with visitors from around the world who come to the Aquarium.

Dates for 2019 Program

Interested applicants must be available for at least one shift on Tuesday mornings; Wednesday or Thursday mornings or afternoons from July 9 – August 1, 2019. All students must be in or entering high school in Fall 2019.

  • Deadline to apply was May 24th, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. HST.
  • Applications will be accepted between April 1st – May 24th, 2019.
  • Applicants will be selected and notified by the second week in June.
  • When filling out the application you must select which times you will be available during the month of July.
