Why no Ke Kani O Ke Kai concert this year?
This single Moonlight Mele concert is due to a major ongoing construction project which impacts the Aquarium’s ability to host its typical multi-concert series. This essential project involves the construction of an injection well, a vital step in improving environmental sustainability and compliance. The new injection well will prevent discharge of Aquarium exhibit water into the sewer or ocean, thereby meeting Department of Health and C&C Honolulu requirements.

All proceeds from this concert will help support rebuilding efforts, exhibit renovations, educational programs and volunteer outreach.
